With all of the concerns about the damage caused by exposure to sunlight, and the ensuing application of sunscreens and anti-wrinkle concoctions, it would seem wise to also educate oneself about the ingredients in these products that we put on our skin.
Many skin care products on the market, including ones that hail themselves as natural and organic, contain a multitude of ingredients that have been proven to be carcinogenic, or at least unresearched and questionable. How does one steer clear of potentially harmful products when the ingredients list seems to require a PhD in chemistry to comprehend?
Meet Dr. Christine H. Farlow, D.C. , author of "DYING TO LOOK GOOD, The Disturbing Truth About What's Really in Your Cosmetics, Toiletries, and Cosmetics, and What You Can Do About It". Dr. Farlow, the "Ingredients Investigator", has been reserching the safety of ingredients in food, cosmetics and personal care products since 1991.
